Wetland Retrievers is owned and operated by Robin Rawls. Robin began his dog training career like so many other professional gundog trainers, his hobby turned into a passionate career.

Through his love for bird hunting and enthusiasm for the sporting retriever breed, Robin started training his personal hunting dog as a hobby with the assistance of one of the best retriever trainers in the business, Patti Kiernan. Through Patti’s tutelage and encouragement Robin entered his first Hunt Test and from that point forward he was hooked and didn’t look back. Now Robin trains and handles some of the best AKC Hunt Test retrievers as well as helps dog owners understand the fine points of Hunt Test and gundog training.
